Welcome to Turtle Mountain Flax! Any time you work with us, you’re working with a small, family owned & operated business. Born in raised in North Dakota, I have had horses my whole life, and love that I get to talk to people about their horses every day. My better half helps with the heavy lifting, and our son enjoys helping me fill bags, too. Since opening our doors we also added a daughter, who’s now 2, and just loves seeing customer’s horses.

I left ND for college, to earn my Biology/Chemistry degree, and have been back here ever since! We love the beauty of North Dakota, especially the Turtle Mountains (even when it is -40 in the winter). We appreciate living in a place with so much to offer, especially in the form of locally grown / locally made items.

My gelding had Cushing’s, so nutrition was very important for him - he’s the reason we opened our doors. My horses (and dogs) get the products daily, and we stand behind our products fully. We hope you give them a try!

You’ll often see him appear in our social media posts, because flax helped him immensely! He sadly passed in Nov. 2022, at age 28, but left his mark on everyone around him & continues to be the reason I do this.
